This custom Scout hat has been blocked using dark navy felt and has a traditional grosgrain ribbon and bow. In addition there is a hand-stitched hat band made using reclaimed fabric. There is also a leather thong with  2 carved beads.
The crown has been shaped into 4 mule kicks which is a little nod to a classic vintage scout hat.

This hat is a one of a kind and only available in the size given above. if your head is slightly smaller you can easily add foam hat strips under the leather sweatband for a snug fit. Or, and this is my favourite way to wear a hat, pop your hat over a bandana! This reduces the hat size by at least 1 cm. Have fun.
